In this study, the inoculums production of five native strains of S. commune was evaluated using grains of sorghum, wheat, barley and rice, which were inoculated with the mycelium of each one of the strains. Everything was incubated at 26°C and 18°C. The substrate w ith the shortest inoculums production time was wheat, followed by sorghum, barley and rice, all at 18° and 26°C. Wheat showed a significant difference (p<0.001) compared with the rest. Strains with shortest production were 108.2001 and 52.2003, in wheat grains at 26°C incubation temperature, showing significant difference with the others (p<0.001).
