-Abstract
As teachers in the Faculty of Chemical Sciences and Pharmacy, we have the responsibility to educate our students, that is, to promote behavioral changes that enable them to act efficiently and responsibly in a world of technological and social change.
Teaching is no longer conceived as the passive transmission of a body of knowledge; rather, it is necessary to place students in contact with reality so that they can relate and transfer what they have learned to real-life situations. Learning must be oriented toward reflection, critical thinking, personal experiences, and participation.
However, this is not easy to achieve, as it requires not only our interest in changing the teaching system, but also a desire for students to know, understand, create, and act.
