To achieve the results, it was necessary to know the opinion of doctors, nurses and pharmacists of the institution, through semi-structured interviews, thanks to which the need for this population to know aspects related to the use, storage, dose, time duration of treatment, precautions, side effects and trade names of drugs. Other aspects are related to the disease and the influence of diet and exercise in its treatment. Based on these results, the educational program consisting of a talk and a brochure was developed, covering each of the aspects suggested by professionals in the health area. Finally, the educational program was validated with the users and by experts. It currently functions as a means of support for each of the clubs organized by the institution's Department of Social Work.
